Dr. Paxton began her teaching career at The Ohio State University
as a lecturer before completing her Ph.D. Dr. Paxton came to CSUSB in 1979.
Dr. Paxton’s current area of research interest is in the area of Sexual Feelings in Psychotherapy. She teaches courses in health and sexuality, substance abuse, health behavior, and perspectives on gender. She is also a Marriage and Family Therapist.
