Description |
|
| |
The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is the choice
for those public health professionals seeking to advance to management
levels in the design, implementation, and administration of public health
agencies. Our MPH was developed to train individuals who can provide
service and leadership in community and public health. The two year
program is designed for professionals who wish to expand their skills,
knowledge and expertise, and for students who wish to build a career in
public health. Students are admitted for the Fall quarter each year. The
foundation for the curriculum is the five core areas of public health:
health status and determinants of health, public health statistics,
epidemiology, environmental and occupational health, and health systems
organization and delivery. Community Health
Education is the concentration that is
currently offered.
