Dr. Greer is the program coordinator for the Master of Public Health graduate program and the Community Health Education and Promotion undergraduate concentration. She teaches graduate Master of Public Health courses and undergraduate community health education courses. Her interest is in health as a philosophy and way of life.
She has worked in international health and development and lived in African and Asian nations. She received her doctorate in Public Health from Oregon State University where her research focused on the health status of patients in a community and migrant health center. Other research has been conducted about HIV and AIDS, division of labor, and women’s work and health.
Dr. Greer was a Fulbright Scholar in Nepal during August through December 2008 where she taught and conducted research.
