ACHE STUDENT CHAPTER - CSUSB
 


 

ACHE ImageMembership in the CSUSB Student Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is open to undergraduate and graduate students in health services administration. The purpose of the ACHE Student Chapter is to acquaint students with the foremost professional association in the field of health care management before they start their careers. The ACHE Student Chapter sponsors speakers on a variety of subjects, including career planning, federal and state health care legislation, women in health administration, and health care public policy issues.

ACHE is a national organization composed of over 30,000 health care executives. It offers continuing education classes and promotes standards for education for executives working in a variety of health care settings. The goals of ACHE are to promote professional development, formulate ethics standards, and serve as an effective network for health care executives. A&WMA STUDENT CHAPTER - CSUSB

The CSUSB Student Chapter is sponsored by the Mojave Desert Professional Chapter, West Coast Section, Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA).  A&WMA was founded in 1907 and is a nonprofit, technical and educational organization.  The Association's goals are to strengthen the environmental profession, expand scientific and technological responses to environmental concerns, and assist professionals in critical environmental decision making to benefit society.

A&WMA has over 9,000 environmental professionals over 65 countries.  It is divided into 33 regional sections, 67 local chapters and 40 student chapters worldwide.  The Mojave Desert Chapter is one of seven professional chapters that comprise the West Coast section.  For more information on A&WMA go to: http://www.awma.org.  For more information contact the faculty advisor, Dr. Lal S. ETA SIGMA GAMMAEta Sigma Gamma Logo

Eta Sigma Gamma is the National Health Education Honorary Society. Eta Sigma Gamma is dedicated to the elevation of standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of professionally trained men and women in the Health Education discipline.

CSUSB's Delta Delta Chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma was founded in 1999 as a forum for health education majors to enhance their professionalism, network with practicing health educators, and prepare themselves for national certification and employment. The Environmental Health Science Club was established to introduce and guide students through the diverse and dynamic field of environmental health within the general discipline of Health Science.
