Dr. Clark has been on the Cal State faculty since 1993, before which time he was a consultant to the California Department of Education on a statewide HIV/AIDS education project, a curriculum developer, a college teacher at neighboring Loma Linda University, and a high school teacher in several Southern California communities.

On the Cal State campus, Dr. Clark teaches a variety of health related courses, ranging from the basic course HSCI 301 Principles of Health Education, to upper division courses like HSCI 470 Health and Human Behavior, and HSCI 471 Health Education Program Planning and Implementation. He is also the adviser to the Master of Arts in Education (Health Education option), adviser to the Department’s health education honorary club Eta Sigma Gamma, and a member of several university committees.

His main interest lies in developing new health professionals for dynamic and effective careers in school and community health education; and to actively facilitate the coordination of resources and services both on and off the CSUSB campus for the benefit of Cal State students, incoming students, and the surrounding communities.
